Bookkeeper

Role Overview

As a Bookkeeper at ApexBridge, you will be responsible for day-to-day financial processing for Australian clients. This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who enjoy structured work and want to build strong fundamentals in Australian accounting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including data entry and bank reconciliations

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions

  • Ensure transactions are correctly coded and supported by documentation

  • Assist with balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations

  • Support accountants during month-end and year-end processes

  • Follow established accounting procedures and Australian standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • At least 1 year of bookkeeping or accounting support experience

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles

  • Exposure to Australian accounting or cloud-based systems (Xero, MYOB) is an advantage

  • Strong numerical and reconciliation skills
