Bookkeeper
Role Overview
As a Bookkeeper at ApexBridge, you will be responsible for day-to-day financial processing for Australian clients. This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who enjoy structured work and want to build strong fundamentals in Australian accounting.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including data entry and bank reconciliations
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
Ensure transactions are correctly coded and supported by documentation
Assist with balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations
Support accountants during month-end and year-end processes
Follow established accounting procedures and Australian standards
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
At least 1 year of bookkeeping or accounting support experience
Basic understanding of accounting principles
Exposure to Australian accounting or cloud-based systems (Xero, MYOB) is an advantage
Strong numerical and reconciliation skills
