Role Overview
As an Accountant, you will manage end-to-end bookkeeping and accounting tasks for Australian clients with minimal supervision. This role suits professionals ready to take ownership of client files and deepen their Australian compliance experience.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle bookkeeping and accounting engagements
Prepare BAS and assist with GST compliance
Perform balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations
Handle month-end and year-end close processes
Review financial statements and management reports
Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders
Identify issues and recommend process improvements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
2–4 years of relevant accounting experience
Prior exposure to Australian accounting and BAS preparation preferred
Experience using Xero or similar AU accounting software
Ability to manage multiple client files independently
