Role Overview

As an Accountant, you will manage end-to-end bookkeeping and accounting tasks for Australian clients with minimal supervision. This role suits professionals ready to take ownership of client files and deepen their Australian compliance experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping and accounting engagements

  • Prepare BAS and assist with GST compliance

  • Perform balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations

  • Handle month-end and year-end close processes

  • Review financial statements and management reports

  • Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders

  • Identify issues and recommend process improvements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

  • 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience

  • Prior exposure to Australian accounting and BAS preparation preferred

  • Experience using Xero or similar AU accounting software

  • Ability to manage multiple client files independently
